Upcat

Upcat (UpCat) is an AI assistant built for Upwork freelancers. It helps you respond to job posts faster by generating an AI-written cover letter from the listing, then lets you edit it so it still sounds like you.

Upcat’s core features focus on quality and relevance: it reads the job post to draft a proposal that matches the project details, helps you avoid generic “blank page” writing, and supports a workflow where you generate a first version and then personalize the opening, proof, and call to action before you submit.

In addition to proposal writing, Upcat includes real-time Upwork job alerts. You can track new opportunities using category, skill, and keyword signals, so you see matching gigs earlier—before the feed gets crowded—and spend less time manually searching.

Upcat works as a browser extension, so you can write and review your proposal close to where you find the job. It’s available as a free Chrome extension and works with Chrome, Brave, Edge, and Opera.

Is Upcat affiliated with Upwork?
