Do I own the headshots and can I use them commercially?
Yes. You own your headshots and have a full commercial license. You can use them on social media, websites, business cards, resumes, and other professional materials.
Where can I use my BetterPic headshots?
You can use them in a variety of contexts, including websites, social profiles (LinkedIn, etc.), business cards and signatures, resumes/CVs, and portfolios (including actors’ portfolios).
What file types can I upload to BetterPic?
You can upload JPEG, JPG, PNG, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, and WebP formats.
How secure are my data and images?
BetterPic protects data with enterprise-grade security. This includes AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest, and continuous monitoring and audits powered by Vanta. Your data is stored securely and managed under trusted security frameworks.
Will BetterPic ever use my photos to train its AI?
No. BetterPic does not use your photos to train its AI models.
How long are my images kept on BetterPic’s servers?
Images are stored for a maximum of 30 days after delivery or approval, then they are permanently deleted.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available within the last 7 days of purchase, provided that the AI has not been trained with your input. If the model has been trained using your photos or the 7-day period has elapsed, refunds cannot be granted (Terms of Service apply).

Can I request manual edits to my headshots?
Yes. You can request manual edits for your AI-generated headshots at $8 per edit. Typical turnaround is 24–48 hours, depending on complexity and current workload.

Yes. A redo is available for $10 and lets you generate a new order using the same package. You can also upload new photos for the redo if you want different results.
Who owns the rights to my pictures?
You own your pictures. You receive full commercial license and ownership, and your photos are used only as intended for your results. You also have the option to delete your data permanently from the servers.
Do the headshots look real enough to use in professional settings?
Most users—typically 85% to 95%—are satisfied with their headshots. Even if you find only 20% highly appealing, you’ll still have a strong selection to choose from.
How is payment processed, and is my payment data safe?
BetterPic uses Stripe for payment processing, ensuring that your credit card details are not stored by BetterPic and remain secure on the payment processor's side.
