How is the starter AI agent created and what can it do after setup?
After you sign up, you’ll answer a few questions about your business to generate a starter AI agent. Once generated, the agent can answer questions, book meetings, and leave messages by answering the phone at the assigned number. You can request customizations to training data, wording, accents, behavior, phone number, and integrations as needed.
What are Simple Phones' pricing options, and is there a trial?
Plans start at $97/mo for 100 calls, with no commitment — you can upgrade or downgrade anytime. We’ll cover the cost of the phone line and development costs of the agent. There is a 14-day free trial to try the service.
Can I keep using my existing business number?
Yes. The change is how missed calls are handled. For example, your current provider can forward missed calls to the AI-assigned number, or you can forward all calls to the AI number with no rings, letting the AI agent prescreen or take a message.
Can the AI integrate with my CRM or other tools (e.g., Zapier)?
Yes. We can work with your back end to make information flow correctly, and we can connect with popular tools like Zapier to send webhooks in a format that fits your needs.
Which countries and phone numbers are available?
We offer numbers in the following countries: United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Belgium, France, Romania, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Portugal, Ireland, Finland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Czechia, and Israel. Additional documentation may be required to obtain a number.

The AI can understand and respond in languages including Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English (US, British, Australian), French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil & Portugal), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Ukrainian, with a range of accents and voices.
What happens if I cancel or exceed my monthly call limit?
If you cancel, or you exceed the number of calls for your plan, your phone numbers will be released. Your AI agent remains ready if you decide to start again, and you can subscribe to a new plan to get a new number.

Crawling lets you add your website or FAQ documents to your AI agent so it can answer questions about your content, in addition to handling tasks like booking meetings and fulfilling requests.
How are calls logged and can I see transcripts?
There is a transparent record of all calls: who they are from, the duration, and a transcript. You can also test your agent without calling it via a chat screen in your dashboard.
