How do Squad challenges work, and how long do they last and how many participants can join?
Squad challenges run for 1 to 4 weeks. You can join an existing Squad or create a shared challenge with an accountability partner or squad. Squads can have up to ~15 people, or as few as two.
What types of accountability squads are available?
Squad offers a range of groups, including regular exercise, meditation, writing, personal productivity, side-hustles/creative work, improving health conditions like ADHD, reading/studying, healthy eating, and losing weight. There are also squads without a specific criterion, where you can commit to any personal habit. Squad provides a safe, supportive, and structured environment with visible rules to keep everyone motivated.
Can I use Squad with my friends or community?
Yes. You can create private Squad challenges and participate with friends or your network. Automated rules and structures for daily check-ins, visual progress, and daily reports help keep everyone motivated.
How do I check in to a Squad?
Commit to a specific, measurable, and realistic task (for example: do 10 minutes of meditation daily after I shower). Check-ins boost your chances of success and motivate others. It’s okay if you didn’t complete a task on a given day—checking in that you didn’t do it helps you stay honest and improves your odds of success.
How do credits work to help me stay motivated?
Credits are required to join public squads. You can earn back all the credits you used to join a public squad based on your check-in score. However, every time you miss a check-in you lose a credit. You’ll receive some free credits when you sign up, and you can purchase more if you run out. Private squads with friends are completely free and do not require or use credits.
I have adult ADHD. Will this help me?
There are many Squad participants with ADHD making progress on daily habits and longer-term goals. Daily commitments range from household chores and meditation to reading. Having others keep you accountable for a set period with clear rules and structure can help you prioritize routines, stay productive, and feel more in control.
