Flecty

Flecty turns what you say into a journal you can read, revisit, and listen to. Start on iPhone or begin recording on Apple Watch—then lower your wrist and keep recording in supported scenarios. Your voice becomes readable text, while the original audio stays available so you can replay the moment exactly as you captured it.

As your day unfolds, Flecty builds a timeline of moments from your recordings. See event cards with source times so you can jump back to what happened—like a walk, a meeting, or an idea you had on the way home. You can also choose writing styles to shape how the journal text is presented without replacing your transcript.

Flecty also lets you add a “coach” perspective from what you recorded. You decide the role and focus—or turn the coaching off—so the guidance stays aligned with what you care about. If you wear an Apple Watch, heart rate and HRV can appear on the same timeline alongside your entries; location and health access are optional and off by default, and health values are not medical advice.

Privacy controls include an optional journal lock (Face ID/Touch ID or your device passcode). With paid plans and sync enabled, recordings and completed journal content sync through your private iCloud. For AI processing, you can use Flecty cloud transcription (including a free allowance) or bring your own AI key via BYOK.

Pricing: Free starts with 2 cloud transcriptions per day and up to 60 seconds of uploaded audio per recording (Apple Watch recording requires BYOK or an All-inclusive paid plan). All-inclusive plans are $49.99/year (with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or $7.99/month, and include 5,000 fast minutes per month with unlimited standard transcription. BYOK is a $9.90 one-time purchase (no subscription), and AI usage is billed separately by your provider.
