SubcueAI is an AI interview assistant for macOS and Windows, with a companion Chrome and Edge extension. It listens to your video interview in real time, transcribes what the interviewer asks, and surfaces concise, context-aware answer suggestions in a small floating overlay, so you always have a clear talking point ready.

WHAT IT DOES

Real-time answer suggestions: SubcueAI captures the interviewer (system audio) and you (microphone) at the same time, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx and any other video-call app. Questions are transcribed with low-latency speech-to-text and answered by an AI that knows your resume and the job description. Choose concise, standard or detailed answers, and pre-write your own answers to expected questions so the assistant uses your words, not generic ones.

AI mock interviews: practice with an AI interviewer that builds questions from your resume and target job description, adapts its follow-ups to what you say, and scores each answer. After every session, real or mock, you get a performance report with strengths, weaknesses and specific improvements to work on.

Resume tools: a free in-browser resume builder with ATS-friendly templates, live preview and A4/Letter PDF export, plus AI resume optimization that tailors your resume to a specific job posting.

Browser extension: live answer suggestions during in-browser interviews on Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, plus mock-interview practice, right from your Chrome or Edge tab.

Built for privacy: the desktop app captures audio locally on your device, with no meeting bots or third-party recorders joining your call. Interview transcripts are not persisted on our servers, resumes are encrypted at rest, and the overlay stays out of screen shares. The app is lightweight, runs quietly in the background, and has a hotkey to hide it instantly.
