Interview Signal

Interview Signal is a desktop app for the interviewer running the call—agency recruiters, in-house recruiters, and hiring managers. It captures the interview on the recruiter’s own computer alongside Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and phone screens, with nothing joining and no participant appearing.

During the interview, Interview Signal shows a live transcript plus a role-specific question guide derived from the job description. Must-ask questions stay pinned until they’re covered, and after substantial answers it suggests follow-ups built from what the candidate just said. As you go, the scorecard fills in with each score linked to a quote checked against the transcript—if the exact quote isn’t found, it’s removed and flagged for you to probe.

When the call ends, it produces a structured scorecard and a client submittal in your agency’s template. You can edit and export in formats like Word or CSV, or use email copy from your own address. Notes, quotes, candidate names, and submittals stay on the recruiter’s computer and are never uploaded.

Does Interview Signal join the Zoom/Teams/Meet meeting like a bot?

No. It runs on the recruiter’s own computer, and nothing joins the call or appears as a participant.

Can it capture interviews done by softphone, dial-in, or mobile on speaker?

Yes. It listens through the recruiter’s computer audio output and microphone, which makes it usable for phone screens—unlike meeting-bot tools that can’t join phone calls.

How does the scorecard use evidence instead of guesswork?

Each score is tied to a candidate quote that’s checked against the transcript. If the app can’t find the exact wording in what was said, the quote is deleted and that area is flagged for you to probe rather than scored on confidence.

When do the client submittal and scorecard get generated?

They’re produced when the call ends, with the client submittal written in your template so you can edit and export immediately.

Is interview data uploaded anywhere?

No. Transcripts, quotes, candidate names, notes, and submittals stay on the recruiter’s computer and are never uploaded; what reaches the vendor is limited to counts and durations for coverage reporting.

Does Interview Signal support panel interviews?

Yes. Panels can split questions across interviewers so each interviewer sees which must-asks are covered and scorecard areas can be completed accordingly.
