What does Interpreterly do?

Interpreterly is an AI-powered voice interpreter designed for real phone calls and front-desk conversations. It lets your team keep speaking English while the person on the other side speaks their language—Interpreterly listens to both sides in real time and relays the conversation.

You can use it by dialing into a conference call (for inbound phone lines) or by placing it on the table for in-person conversations. It’s built for routine intake and scheduling workflows, helping teams reduce language-related hold times and avoid gaps in language coverage.

Interpreterly currently supports English↔Spanish and English↔Brazilian Portuguese, with Haitian Creole and 20+ additional languages planned. Every call can be captured as an audit-ready transcript, including language pair, call duration, and consent capture. Security and compliance include SOC 2 Type II, TLS 1.3 + AES-256, U.S. data residency, and no training on customer audio.

Important: Interpreterly is an AI language-assistance tool, not a certified or licensed human interpreter. For situations where certified, qualified, or sworn interpretation is legally required (for example, certain court proceedings, complex medical consent, or ASL), use a credentialed human interpreter and confirm your legal obligations.

How does Interpreterly work during a phone call?

You dial a number and conference Interpreterly into the call. It then provides real-time two-way voice interpretation while your team and the caller speak normally.

Does Interpreterly provide certified or licensed interpreters?

No. Interpreterly is an AI language-assistance tool, not a certified, qualified, or sworn interpreter service. For legally required scenarios, use a credentialed human interpreter.

Which languages are available now?

Can Interpreterly be used for in-person front-desk conversations?

Is there an audit-ready record of calls?
