What does Img3D do?
Img3D is an AI 3D generator for image-led and text-led creative workflows. Upload one clear object image or describe a single object in text, then generate a draft you can inspect before taking it further.
Generation is organized around a few visible decisions: choose an input, select a mode (Fast for early shape validation or Quality for more detail), and review the resulting GLB preview in your browser. You’ll also see mode availability and the credit cost before generation begins.
After inspection, download the generated model formats via a signed link and refine the asset in your existing 3D tool. The workflow is designed for product concepts, props, furniture, and game-asset drafts—where reviewing shape, proportions, and surface cues early can save manual modeling time.
Do I need to upload an image to use Img3D?
No. You can use either image to 3D (upload a clear object photo) or text to 3D (write a focused prompt describing the object’s shape, parts, material, color, and style).
What image works best for image to 3D?
Use one complete object with a simple background. Avoid cropped edges, heavy occlusion, transparency, and strong reflections—three-quarter views usually provide better depth cues.
When should I choose the Fast vs Quality mode?
Use Fast for quicker drafts to validate overall shape and silhouette. Choose Quality when you want more detail and are ready for closer review.
Can I inspect the model before downloading it?
Yes. Img3D provides a GLB browser preview so you can rotate and zoom to review the draft from multiple angles before you download files.
Which 3D file formats can I download?
Download availability depends on the selected mode and a successful generation. When provided, the generator supports GLB previews and downloadable GLB, OBJ, or STL files.
Are my uploaded images and generated models public?
No. Inputs and source models are stored privately, and downloads require an authorized signed link. Public examples involve an additional rights review and publication step.
