Claude Mark Remover
AI Detector & Detecting Tools
Strip hidden Claude marks and rewrite sentences to help break detection, while keeping facts, figures, names, and keywords intact.

What does Claude Mark Remover do?
Claude Mark Remover is a browser-based tool that helps clean and humanize Claude-generated text by addressing two layers: hidden characters and AI-like wording patterns.
First, it strips invisible Unicode “hidden marks” embedded in copied text without changing what you can see. Next, it rewrites sentences so the detectable pattern in the wording no longer holds—while preserving facts, figures, names, keywords, and the original argument.
You can paste text or upload supported documents and images. Choose a readability level and writing purpose, enable enhanced processing, freeze exact keywords you want to keep, and remove certain file metadata (C2PA credentials, EXIF, and XMP) for supported file types. Outputs include the cleaned draft plus counts for hidden characters removed and sentences rewritten, along with a human-writing score.
Does Claude add a watermark to text outputs?
Yes—current Claude models mark their output by embedding a detectable signal inside the generated text. It’s imperceptible and doesn’t change meaning or readability.
Will the watermark stay after I copy and paste into another app?
Yes. The mark travels with the text during copy/paste and reformatting because it’s woven into the words themselves.
How does removing the mark work in two steps?
The tool first strips hidden Unicode characters mechanically (with no visible wording changes). Then it rewrites sentences so the AI-detection signal in the wording no longer holds—swapping a few words usually won’t work.
Does removing the watermark change what I wrote?
It keeps facts, figures, names, keywords, and the original argument, but it rebuilds sentences to change the detectable wording pattern. Heavily edited or paraphrased text may already be less detectable.
Is this tool really free and does it require an account?
Yes—there’s no signup and it supports unlimited words. The processing runs in your browser, and nothing is stored.
Can it remove marks from files too?
It can remove text-watermark related issues via rewriting, and for supported files it can also strip file metadata such as C2PA credentials, EXIF, and XMP.
