What does Visemory do?

Find the moment you need in your local media library with natural-language search across dialogue, on-screen text, filenames, notes, tags, and visual scenes.

Visemory imports multiple local folders and analyzes videos, audio, and images so matches can be shown with the exact timecode. Dialogue and on-screen text can be searched, and Visemory can also recognize text appearing on screen (like slides or on-camera text). Visual search lets you describe a scene, object, color, or person to retrieve relevant moments that may not be spoken.

Each result includes why it matched, a supporting frame, and its timecode—so you can jump in, preview the surrounding context, and only then collect clips. You can save matches into separate clip baskets, adjust clip start and end points, and export a traceable media package.

Local by default, Visemory keeps your source media on your device during local processing. If you opt into cloud transcription, you’ll be shown the scope and estimated Credit cost first; then only the complete audio tracks needed for transcription are uploaded, and originals such as video files and file paths aren’t uploaded.

What types of media can I search with Visemory?

You can search across videos, audio, and images in your local media library.

What can I search for in one query?

One search can match filenames, dialogue, on-screen text, visual content, notes, and tags.

Does Visemory copy my media to the cloud?

Local processing keeps your library on your device and doesn’t copy source files to a cloud library. If you choose cloud transcription, only complete audio tracks are uploaded after you confirm the scope and estimated Credit cost.

How does Visemory handle subtitle or transcript information?

When valid subtitles already exist in your media, Visemory uses them first for dialogue search and timecoded results.

Can I search across different languages?

Yes. Cross-language semantic search is on by default, and you can choose a content language to help improve dialogue recognition accuracy.

Is Visemory a video editor or cloud storage service?

No—Visemory focuses on local media search and clip preparation, not full editing, cloud drive storage, a media marketplace, or enterprise asset management.
