Text Watermark Remover
AI Writing Tools and Generators
Free AI text watermark remover that cleans hidden Unicode characters and deep-rewrites Claude-style statistical watermarks in your browser.

What does Text Watermark Remover do?
Text Watermark Remover helps you reduce AI text watermark signals in content generated by Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok.
It has two layers of removal. Quick Clean scans for and strips 34+ invisible Unicode watermark characters (like zero-width spaces and bidi controls) instantly in your browser—no uploads, no sign-up. Line breaks, spaces, and tabs are preserved as formatting; the tool focuses on invisible characters.
For Claude-style watermarks, use Deep Rewrite. Since that watermark is based on statistical word-choice patterns rather than hidden characters, deleting characters won’t affect it. Deep Rewrite paraphrases your text with an LLM to break the original pattern (best-effort), so it may weaken watermark signals without promising detector bypass.
What does Quick Clean do?
Quick Clean detects and removes 34+ invisible Unicode characters that can function as hidden-character watermarks. It runs locally in your browser and preserves visible formatting like line breaks and spaces.
When should I use Deep Rewrite instead of Quick Clean?
Use Deep Rewrite for Claude-style statistical watermarks where the signal is in word choice patterns, not invisible characters. Quick Clean can’t change that layer because it only removes hidden characters.
Will this work for ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok output?
Yes—this tool is designed to handle both hidden-character watermarks (via Quick Clean) and Claude-style statistical watermarks (via Deep Rewrite) for the listed model outputs.
Is the tool really free and do I need an account?
Yes. It’s free to use and doesn’t require sign-up.
Does it store my text or require uploads?
Quick Clean doesn’t leave your browser. Deep Rewrite sends your text through an API exactly once for paraphrasing; it isn’t stored to a database, and you won’t need an account.
Can removed/written text still be detected by watermark detectors?
Best-effort only. The utility doesn’t guarantee passing any third-party or official watermark detectors, and detection may still occur.
