What does IP for AI do?
IP for AI helps you troubleshoot whether your current network looks consistent for AI access. It runs an AI IP/network environment check and returns an explainable environment score (0–100) so you can quickly gauge network quality and consistency for browser or app-based access.
The results include an egress “portrait” built from your observed public IPv4 and IPv6 details—such as region and ASN—plus signals that may indicate proxy/VPN or Tor-style behavior. You’ll also see an “IP purity” view and risk attribute indicators, so you can separate “network looks clean/consistent” from “network signals suggest complexity.”
To make troubleshooting symptom-first, the tool also performs browser-side connectivity checks against public AI endpoints. It can observe which public egress is used for different AI applications (AI split routing), highlighting cases where one service path works while others return errors like 403, not available, or region-style issues.
Use this when you see load failures, CAPTCHA loops, or inconsistent access across providers (e.g., some endpoints work while others don’t). Keep in mind: these results reflect this network observation only; public connectivity does not guarantee that your account, subscription, or full feature set is available, and it’s not an official ban/decision predictor. A read-only CLI check is also available if you prefer diagnostics outside the browser.
What does IP for AI do when I run a test?
It generates an AI environment quality score (0–100), shows your observed IPv4/IPv6 egress details (region/ASN and proxy/Tor-style signals), and tests connectivity to public AI endpoints to help explain access issues.
What is the “network environment score” (0–100)?
It’s an explainable indicator of how clean and consistent your current network environment appears for AI access. It’s meant to guide troubleshooting, not to predict account status or guaranteed outcomes.
Why are IPv4 and IPv6 checked separately?
Some failures happen only on one stack. Checking both helps you pinpoint dual-stack mismatches rather than guessing.
If the connectivity test succeeds, does that mean my account/subscription will work?
No. A successful public endpoint connection only reflects this network observation. It doesn’t guarantee login, entitlements, or complete feature access.
Can I use the tool without a browser?
Yes. There’s a read-only command-line (CLI) check for running the diagnostics outside the browser.
Why might some AI services work while others show 403 or “region unavailable”?
Different services can use different egress paths and routing rules. The tool’s split-routing view helps you compare which public egress is used and where connectivity differs across providers or endpoints.
