Generate multiple directions from the same brief so you can compare and pick the best direction to iterate. You can explore 20+ tattoo styles and request up to four outputs per task, adjusting settings like aspect ratio and export resolution (1K, 2K, or 4K).

DermInk also supports reference-based workflows: rework an existing tattoo or sketch, convert a photo into a tattoo concept, or create stencil-style linework for artist review. Results are concept-focused and not transfer-ready stencils or tattoo-ready artwork—use them as a clearer starting point for discussion and final professional adaptation.

Is DermInk free to try, and do I need a credit card?

New accounts receive 30 free credits, enough for three standard 1K tattoo concepts. There’s no card required to start generating.

What inputs can I use to generate a tattoo concept?

You can create from text prompts or upload reference images. Prompts can include the tattoo subject, style, placement, scale, meaning, and anything you want to avoid.

Can I generate multiple variations at once?

Yes. You can generate up to four directions from the same prompt, then compare the results and refine the one you prefer.

What image sizes and aspect ratios can I export?

You can export outputs in 1K, 2K, or 4K resolution, and select from multiple aspect ratios. Placement mockups are visual references rather than exact size/fit previews.

Does DermInk create stencil images ready for transfer paper?

No. Stencil-style concepts are for artist review and are not transfer-ready stencils.

Can I use a generated concept with my tattoo artist?

Yes. Use your DermInk result as a visual brief, and have your artist adapt placement, size, line weight, contrast, and final stencil/redraw for your body and long-term readability.
