What does BadMars do?

BadMars is adversarial AI that reviews your business plan the way a hostile investor, regulator, or operator would—assuming gaps exist and hunting for where they show up. Instead of encouraging you, a “Panel” of specialist personas convenes to pressure-test your unit economics, market claims, defensibility, schedule, compliance exposure, and the assumptions that your numbers quietly rely on.

The output is designed to be actionable: a Mission Report with a score out of 100, a verdict, and a ranked list of findings. Every finding must be anchored to a verbatim quote from your document, so the report ties critiques back to your own text. Findings are prioritized by severity and probability, then cross-examined in a second pass that tries to kill weak claims—only what survives is carried into the report.

A central concept is the “Frog”—the single hardest problem the rest of your plan depends on. The report identifies the Frog as the issue to eat first, since fixing it is what makes other fixes possible. Who it’s for includes founders pressure-testing a plan before raising or building, investors and advisors running fast diligence, and operators or consultants who want a second opinion that doesn’t flatter.

Pricing is organized into a ladder of missions: Flyby is €0 for one mission a month (one specialist) with three debrief exchanges; Landing is €39 one-time per Mission with a full panel report (PDF), plus one free re-run and a 48-hour full-refund guarantee on your first landing. Colony is €49/month for ten missions a month, unlimited debrief across programs, Frog history, and score trajectory. Teams start at Fleet €99/month for 20 missions and 3 seats.

What does BadMars do with my business plan?

It convenes a panel of hostile specialists that attacks your plan across key failure modes (like unit economics, market fit, defensibility, compliance, and execution). You receive a Mission Report with a score, verdict, and ranked, evidence-anchored findings.

How are the findings supported?

Every finding is anchored to a verbatim quote from your own document. If the panel can’t point to your text, that finding can’t be filed.

What is the “Frog” in a BadMars report?

The Frog is the single hardest problem that the rest of your plan depends on. Fix it first, then return so the panel can reconvene and re-score with evidence.

How is the score calculated?

The score is computed by code from the findings and their burden relative to the number of panel seats. It’s not set by mood or opinions.

Is there a free option?

Yes. Flyby includes one mission per month at €0, with one specialist (redacted bench) and three debrief exchanges.

What refund options are available?

First Landing includes a 48-hour full-refund guarantee. (Other ladder options are listed separately with their own terms.)
