Seedance 2.5 AI helps you plan, generate, and iterate short cinematic videos in a single workflow. Create from text or images, and use reference-to-video for more guided results—while keeping the production flow organized around a clear shot direction.

The interface supports multiple production tiers for practical iteration. Use Mini for fast short drafts, then move to Fast or Standard when your direction is locked. You can also choose aspect ratio and duration to match the clip format you’re producing.

Audio can be generated natively alongside your video, including ambience, sound effects, music, and dialogue. If you need a silent storyboard, audio can be turned off per request.

Seedance 2.5 is tracked separately until its API is ready for production use, and the workspace currently offers Seedance 2.0 generation modes. If your deadline is soon, you can still generate using the available Seedance 2.0 models while the 2.5 track is monitored.

Can I generate videos even though Seedance 2.5 isn’t available as a full production option yet?

How do the Mini, Fast, and Standard tiers differ?

Mini is designed for economical prompt testing, Fast is the production default, and Standard adds 1080p output. Start with Mini drafts, then scale up once your direction is ready.

What video durations and aspect ratios can I choose?

Durations include 5s, 8s, 10s, and 15s, and aspect ratio choices include 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 21:9.

Does Seedance 2.5 AI support synchronized audio?

Yes. It can generate synchronized ambience, sound effects, music, and dialogue alongside the video, and audio can be switched off per request.

How many reference files can I use in reference-to-video mode?

Reference mode supports up to 12 total files: up to 9 images, 3 videos, and 3 audio clips.
