Read Your Scan is an AI-powered medical imaging platform for patients exploring MRI, CT, and X-ray studies. Upload your DICOM images (or compatible formats) to view your exam in a real 3D browser viewer, then add your radiologist’s report to see findings pinned to the exact anatomy.

The experience is built around a mapped “second opinion” workflow: you can review where your report’s sentences align with what the AI sees and where it raises additional follow-up points. Findings are rewritten in plain language, scored by severity (from normal to significant), and presented so you can easily click through and navigate to where each finding appears on your scan.

Read Your Scan also supports sharing via private links and de-identifies identifying DICOM tags in your browser before anything is uploaded. The platform is informational and educational and does not replace a radiologist, physician, or medical diagnosis.

Is Read Your Scan a medical diagnosis?

No. It’s an informational tool to help you understand imaging reports and discuss questions with your doctor. Always rely on a licensed clinician for diagnosis and care decisions.

What scan formats can I upload to use the viewer and AI mapping?

You can upload MRI, CT, or X-ray scans as DICOM (including a folder/CD workflow) as well as images (JPG/PNG) and reports (paste text or upload a PDF).

How does report mapping work when I add my radiologist’s report?

Your report text is broken into individual findings, rewritten in plain language, scored for severity, and pinned to the corresponding locations on your images. This helps you see where the report and AI align and what to bring up in your appointment.

Do the AI explanations replace my radiologist’s report?

No. The mapped output is meant to help you understand your existing report and identify questions to discuss. It does not replace your radiologist or physician.

Can I share my study with my doctor?

Yes. You can share a private link to a study that includes the images and mapped findings, without requiring your doctor to have an account. You can revoke access at any time.

How does Read Your Scan protect my privacy?

Identifying DICOM tags (like names, IDs, and dates) are removed in your browser before upload. Data is also encrypted in transit and at rest, and you control deletion.
