Leumos AI brings color grading into a focused browser workspace. Upload footage, add a reference image, and use reference matching to guide your shot’s color, contrast, and overall mood.

If you don’t have a reference, Smart Grade generates a shortlist of looks for the selected shot based on its lighting, faces, and setting—so you can get moving quickly and keep refining as needed.

Work with both AI-assisted and manual tools. Tune exposure and white balance, shape contrast, protect and refine skin tone, and finish with cinematic effects like Spotlight, Diffusion, Halation, and Texture. Leumos also supports log footage by normalizing it through Academy ACES reference transforms before matching, so different cameras can be compared on consistent terms.

What is Leumos AI used for?

Leumos AI is for color grading. You can match a selected shot to a reference image (or use Smart Grade) and then fine-tune the look with manual and AI-assisted controls.

How does reference matching work in Leumos?

Choose a still reference image and Leumos matches the selected shot’s color, contrast, and overall look to that reference. You can preview the result in motion and then refine it with the grading tools.

Can I grade without a reference image?

Yes—use Smart Grade. It analyzes the selected shot and offers a shortlist of looks you can pick from and adjust by strength.

Does Leumos support log footage?

Yes. Select the input transform that matches how your clip was shot, and Leumos normalizes it through Academy ACES reference transforms before matching so shots are judged consistently.

Can Leumos color grade an entire timeline automatically?

You can grade shots individually and export the timeline, but reference matching runs on one selected shot at a time. Automatic full-timeline matching isn’t available in this release.

What can I export from Leumos?

Exports depend on your plan: Free offers 1080p 8-bit export with no watermark, while Lite and Studio offer 4K 10-bit export with no watermark (Studio also includes a ProRes 422 HQ master).
