What is Stablehorde (AI Horde)?
Stablehorde, also known as AI Horde, is a crowdsourced distributed cluster of image generation workers and text generation workers for generating AI media. It is free and open source, powered by volunteers running open source software on their own hardware. It is community-driven, harnessing the collective GPU power, with no lock-in and open REST APIs.
How do I get started with Stablehorde?
First register an account which will generate an API key. Store that key somewhere safe - treat it like a password.
If you do not want to register, you can use 0000000000 (10 zeros) as an API key to connect anonymously. However, anonymous accounts have the lowest priority when there are too many concurrent requests! To increase your priority you will need a unique API key and then to increase your Kudos. Read how Kudos work.
What frontend should I start with?
The easiest way to start is through one of our user-friendly frontends. We recommend ArtBot – a popular web-based client that's perfect for beginners. You can explore all frontends to find the best fit for you.
How do I increase my priority and what are Kudos?
Priority is higher for users with a unique API key and with Kudos, which are priority points earned by helping the community. For details on how Kudos work, refer to the relevant resources in our FAQ.
How can I contribute as a worker?
All generation on the platform is powered by volunteers. Become a worker to share your GPU power and earn Kudos while helping make free AI accessible to everyone. You can also donate to support the community.

Where can I monitor real-time activity and stats?
You can view detailed Horde activity on Grafana. Real-time stats are accessible via the Grafana interface (Usage details | Model details).
