What does TatSketch do?

TatSketch is an AI tattoo generator that transforms your text prompts into tattoo design concepts. Describe what you want—such as linework, shading, colors, or elements to exclude—then generate and review multiple directions for inspiration.

Choose a tattoo style (like fine line, realism, or Japanese motifs) and adjust generation options such as aspect ratio and resolution (including 1K, 2K, and 4K). Use the generator examples as a starting point, then refine one part of your prompt at a time to steer the result.

Save designs in My Works for later and download a watermarked preview for personal use. If you subscribe, you can download watermark-free originals for designs you saved before subscribing, and you can use designs for client and commercial work. Your generated designs are intended as visual references to share with your tattoo artist.

Is TatSketch a free AI tattoo generator?

You can generate one design free. This free generation is a one-time experience for both guest and account use, and it doesn’t renew daily. After that, you’ll need an active subscription to generate more.

Do I need an account to get started?

No—You can begin generating as a guest. Signing up adds access to account features like saving designs in My Works.

What should I write in my tattoo prompt?

Write the subject, composition, and details you care about (linework, shading, colors) and what to leave out. The more concrete you are—such as “fine lines,” “black & grey,” or “selective fur detail”—the easier it is to get the direction you want.

Can I change an AI tattoo design after generating it?

Yes. Generate and review results, then adjust your prompt and generation options to iterate on the design. Updating one part at a time helps you compare ideas.

Can I download my design without a watermark?

You can download a watermarked preview for personal use. Watermark-free originals are available with an active subscription, including designs you saved before subscribing.

Is the generated image ready to tattoo?

Treat the output as a visual reference to bring to your tattoo artist. It’s meant to help communication about style and composition.
