AI Text to Image Models

What AI models does TextSynth offer access to?
TextSynth provides access to large language, text-to-image, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text models such as Mistral, Llama, Stable Diffusion, and Whisper. These models can handle tasks like text generation (completion, chat), question answering, classification, translation, image generation, speech generation, and speech-to-text transcription. Access is available via a REST API and a web Playground.
What interfaces does TextSynth provide to access its models?
TextSynth models are accessible through a REST API and a Playground on the website. For developers, there is also the TextSynth library (a JavaScript module) to create custom text templates and merge data using TextSynth.merge(). In the Playground you can select models, run tasks (text, image, audio), and fine-tune outputs by adjusting parameters such as top-k, top-p, temperature, and max tokens.
Is there a free version of TextSynth, and what are the usage limits?
Yes—the basic service is free but rate-limited. If you need unlimited usage, you can pay a small amount per request (see Pricing).
How is pricing structured on TextSynth?
The basic service is free but rate-limited; for unrestricted access you pay a modest per-request fee via pre-purchased credits. The exact cost per request varies based on factors such as the specific model used, the quantity of input and generated tokens, the number of generated images, or the duration of input audio.
Where are TextSynth's servers located?
All TextSynth servers are located in France.
How does TextSynth achieve faster inference and lower costs?
TextSynth employs custom inference code to achieve faster inference (hence lower costs) on standard GPUs and CPUs.
When was TextSynth founded, and what is notable about its history?
TextSynth was founded in 2020 and was among the first to provide access to the GPT-2 language model.
How can I contact TextSynth for custom support?

- Unrestricted access requires a per-request payment via pre-purchased credits; costs vary by model and usage.
- Some models may be experimental and occasionally produce outputs of lower quality or with inconsistencies.
